AZTEX ADDED AS SPECIAL GUEST ON LOS LOBOS TOUR

AUSTIN, TX - HighTone Records group Aztex has been added as special guest on six upcoming dates of the current Los Lobos tour. Based in Buda, Texas, just south of Austin, Aztex is led by accordion master Joel Guzman and his wife, singer Sarah Fox. The band's debut album, Short Stories, released September 14, was produced by Los Lobos band member Steve Berlin.

Both Guzman and Fox were featured on the Grammy Award-winning album, Los Super Seven, with Joel performing on most of the CD's songs and Sarah singing background vocals on four tracks. The two also performed on the Los Super Seven tour of the country.

Short Stories is a smokin' combination of Latino and American roots music, a bilingual fusion of rock, blues, jazz, traditional Mexican conjunto and tropical rhythms guaranteed to get audiences off their seats.
