Eagle Pass to Host Kick-Off Party, Oct 9-11

Eagle Pass, TX - The 18th Annual Tejano Music Awards Kick-Off Party has been scheduled for October 10-11, 1997, at Shelby Park in Eagle Pass, Tx.

The schedule calls for a news conference at 10:30 am Thursday, October 9, 1997, at the Eagle Pass City Hall. On Friday and Saturday, October 10-11, the festiivites will begin at Shelby Park with lots of food booths, games, contests, a children's playground which will be set up with a large sandbox and inflatable castles, and, of course, top Tejano recording artists performing live on stage. Also on Friday Bobby Pulido will crown the home coming queen at Eagle Pass's homecoming football game. Pulido will then headline the entertainment live on stage at Shelby Park later that night.
