It had only been a couple of months since Amor y Pasion released its single "Enamorandome," and just two weeks since its new CD, "BESA, BESA", hit retail stores nationally. Already, the group is one of the HOTTEST new acts in Spanish-language music. Here's an update on what's been happening: - Amor y Pasion's EPK was shot in the beautiful Paseo de la Princesa in San Juan, Puerto Rico and directed by the renowned Dago Gonzalez. The video includes the radio and dance mix versions of "Enamorandome" and captures the beauty and originality of Amor y Pasion's personal and artistic style. Dago is well known for his work with Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony and Albita. His use of imagery portraying fire as passion and lust and water as pure and sensual depicts the spirit and creativity of this new album. - Amor y Pasion's first single "Enamorandome" was released to all Contemporary Spanish radio stations on April 17. The remix version of the single is topping the charts in key contemporary and college radio circuits throughout the U.S. The remix version is also leading the charts in the national Latin club circuit. - Amor y Pasion recently completed a media tour in Los Angeles that included performances at Fiesta Broadway 2000, the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration in the U.S. They also performed in front of enthusiastic audiences at the Conga Room and at various festivals throughout Los Angeles. - Amor y Pasion is gearing up for a summer club tour which promises to deliver suftry sounds combined with high-energy dance rhythms.
