    • February '95, Elsa and her band were part of the EMI/ Latin showcase at the Radio Y Musica Convention in Los Angels California.

    • Elsa headlined the Fiestas Patrias Concert in Sept. '94 and had more than 18,000 people at the event in Houston, Tx

    • July 2,1995 Elsa headlined a concert for KUNO Radio in Corpus Christi, Tx and more than 6,000 were in attendance.

    • Sept '95 in Chihuahua, Mx Elsa headlined a concert for Radio Lobo and had more than 20,000 people at the event.

    • October, 24, 1995 The Mayor proclaimed Elsa Garcia Day in Houston, Tx.

    • Elsa is giving back to the community, she is involved in a campaign to get Hispanics to vote. It is titled "Animese a Votar", it started as a local project and is now nationwide, posters are available. Elsa also donates her time by speaking to and donating her performance for students at schools throughout Texas in support of continued education.

    • From November to December of '95, Elsa y su grupo did a promotional tour in Mexico. The tour included Tampico, Torreon, Chihuahua and Nuevo Leon. More than 100,000 people saw Her perform

    • Jan, '96 Elsa performed at the Feria de Leon Guanajuato as part of the concert with The Johnny Canales Show

    • March , '96' Elsa y su grupo healined the first Tejano Cruise on board the Enchanted Isle. To our knowledge this was the first time that a Tejano Act performed on board a cruise liner and played only Tejano Music.

    • Also in March, Elsa was voted Female Vocalist at the Corpus Christi, Tx Mike Chavez Tejano Music Awards.

    • April , '96 Elsa was nominated Mexican Regional / Tejano Female Vocalist for Premio Lo Nuestro by Univision and Elsa was a presenter at the awards on May 9,'96.

    • June 20,'96 Elsa is being honored for single of the year for LA LUNA SERA LA LUNA at the Johnny Canales "YOU GOT IT AWARDS" in Dallas, Tx.

    • June 21, '96 Elsa and her group will take part in the "TTMA SHOWCASE" in Las Vegas, Nevada.

    • Elsa Garcia will be the First Latino Artist to have a doll made to her likeness. The doll will make it's historic worldwide unveiling at a press conference preceeding her performance at The Convention Center for the largest tejano bash ever in Houston. This will all take place on July 27, 1996.

    • Another First for Tejano Artists- On August 4, 1996 Elsa will do a special performance at The Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Hispanic Pride Circus in DalIas,Tx.

    • Elsa's newest compact disc entitled "Como Tu y Yo" will be available near the end of August. This compact disc, comprised of original songs and mariachi coplas, promises to be Elsa's best studio effort. This disc features three songs written by Elsa, as well as more songs by her mother, Hermalinda Guttierez; and a composition by Jorge Luis Borrego. Just as on the previous c.d.'s, Elsa is the producer and arranger; and now for the first time she is a songwriter!

    • * Jan. 18-25 Elsa Garcia and her band, will celebrate "THE FRIST ANNUAL ELSA GARCIA B'DAY PARTY CRUISE" on a Carribean Cruise on board the ship ENCHANTED ISLE. Be there or be square!
