Elyssia Marie
At a time when Tejano singers are going country,
Elyssia went from country to Tejano.
She says that she doesn't really know Spanish, but
instead memorizes words of the songs she sings.
She switched to Tejano music because wanted to get more
in touch with her culture.
Elyssia was born in Chicago, but grew up around the Ferris/Ennis,
area, south of Dallas, Tx. She says that she a Texan.
She's been in the singing business around 3 yrs.
She's very excited that she will get to present an
award in TMA.
Her album's name is Es Amor and was
recorded in San Antonio with AFG Sigma.
