Since 1993 Cariño has captured the attention of countless North Texas fans and continue to evolve as a group with the addition of Danny Rodriguez and Norma Valles in May 1998. Danny's not only a master accordionist but performs on keyboards as well as vocals and is the pioneering composer/producer for Cariño. Norma Valles with her dynamic stage presence and refined vocals give the group a unique dimension. Together with Johnny Rodriguez who creates mesmerizing rhythm on bass guitar, Chris Rivera who commands the percussion section while simultaneously performs acrobatic "drum stick" maneuvers and never misses a beat, Freddy Rodriguez can finesse an audience with his rich vocals that provide a distinctive tone, and Armando Reyes (El Veterano) on bajo sexto and vocals is truly the heart of Cariño because he exudes all the passion and life that conceived Tejano music.
