Did you know... Simon Arausa not only knows how to play the accordion, but he can also play the drums, guitar, bass and bajo sexto. Simon has been playing the accordion since he was 8 years old.


Did you know... Mike Macias picked up his first instrument, the tuba, in high school. He then began to play the bass guitar. Mike is now considered one of the best bass players in the industry. Before joining La Diferenzia, Mike was a band member and part owner of the group Culturas.


Did you know... Before joining La Diferenzia, Adam Vargas once sat in for the band's usual guitar player at a show in Lufkin, TX. Prior to becoming a member of La Diferenzia, Adam played with La Sombra.


Did you know... Both of Miguel Spindola's grandparents played in the National Symphony in Mexico. His grandfather played the violin and his grandmother played the harp.


Did you know... Jose Luis Benavides has been the only drummer in La Diferenzia's history, and Ricardo Castillon was his teacher. Before learning to play the drums, jose Luis played the trumpet in high school.


Did you know... Arnold Cardenas' first instrument was the trumpet until he began playing the keyboards. His father played guitar in a Tejano band.


Did you know... Ricardo Castillon not only sings and writes songs, but he can also play various instruments including the drums, guitar, bass, keyboards and accordion. His mother has a beautiful voice and taught Ricardo his first chords on the guitar.
