William Morris Agency:
The Hot Latin Connection

April, 1998
HOUSTON: La Mafia's Hot Latin Agency recently announced a strengthening of its relationship with William Morris, the agency currently responsible for booking its engagements. In a bold three-part move to solidify its presence in the Mexican-American music scene, the William Morris Agency has hired La Mafia in-house booking agent Pete Gonzalez.

Accordingly, La Mafia will renew its contract with William Morris for another term. And in addition, former Hot Latin Agency artists Los Palominos are being signed by the world-renowned agency for representation as well.

"Working with La Mafia has been one of the best opportunities of my life," said Gonzalez who came to the Mafia management team after 15 years with the legendary Little Joe y La Familia. "I feel proud that William Morris took note of our work on behalf of La Mafia and had the confidence to bring me on board."

Mando Lichtenberger, Jr. founding member of La Mafia as well as producer of both La Mafia and Los Palominos, expressed his pleasure with the move by William Morris. "I'm excited because this is going to benefit everyone. It also brings Los Palominos to the level where I want to see them."

Pete Gonzalez will join Joe Casias at the William Morris Agency office in Nashville, Tennessee where he will continue to represent La Mafia and Los Palominos as William Morris clients.

"As an agent at William Morris, I will strive to represent our clients to the best of my ability," added Gonzalez.
