Cinco De Mayo 2001

Cinco De Mayo 2001 was held in Irving at the Texas Stadium on May 6, 2001. KICK-FM did a great job on putting together another fine Tejano event. An estimated 100,000 people showed up for this event. Scheduled to perform were Los Palominos, Bobby Pulido, Jaime y Los Chamacos, Stampede, Victoria y Sus Chikos, Crystal and a surprised band, Dezaztre. The only ones not to show up was Los Palominos. They appeared on KICK-FM the next morning apologizing and explaining the reason why they tried but fail to make it in time. None the less, it was a great day and great performances by all.
